2. Hi Nikolaos, Ι would like to ask you something about gunpowder and how to choose correct dose for 12ga. Here in Serbia, we can buy only our national gun powder named ZLATIBOR maked by Milan Blagojevic in Lucani [mbnamenska.com/powders.html]. On gunpowder box write recomendation for 12ga:
- for star crimp 1.55-1.60 and 32-34gr of lead shot (cx2000 recomended)
- for rolled crimp 1.70-1.75 and 32-34gr of lead (cx2000 recomended)
- pheasant - diameter of shot 3.00mm
- duck - diameter of shot 3.50mm
- rabbits - diameter of shot 4.00mm
ΑΠΑΝΤΗΣΗ
Dear Branislav, as we already told you the last time, the best way to close your shotshells is the Five Stage Star Crimp with the I2S Roller!
For the rest, we have put online since many time ago the relative article: How we read the double tables! As you can read there and of course with the help of a translator, you may undrestand that when you have a double dose [ex. 1.55-1.60 x 32-34gr], you need to decompose in this way:
- 1.55x32gr / N.9~2.10mm / Summer
- 1.60x32gr / N.4~3.10mm / Winter
Otherwise in your case, you may transform the dose in this way:
- 1.55x32gr / N.9~2.10mm / Summer
- 1.55x34gr / N.4~3.10mm / Summer
- 1.60x32gr / N.9~2.10mm / Winter
- 1.60x34gr / N.4~3.10mm / Winter
Of course you can consider other setups, but we could not recomend you to push your shotshells further than those setups...
